Stealer Log 458e8eb4 Leaked 2,159 Passwords Online
HEROIC analysts found a stealer log file, internally labeled 28-10-2025_458e8eb4, uploaded to a Telegram channel on October 29, 2025. The file contained 2,159 records pairing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and login URLs harvested from infected devices.
Why This Is Dangerous
Small does not mean safe. A 2,159 record stealer log is still a ready made list of working logins. Every password inside is stored in plain, readable text, so an attacker can copy, paste, and log in immediately without cracking a single hash.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- Login URLs for the associated accounts
Why This Matters
Attackers do not care how small a batch is if the credentials still work. These records get merged into larger credential stuffing lists and tested automatically against email, banking, and shoping accounts. Because password reuse is so common, one leaked login often becomes the first domino in an account takeover, followed by identity theft or financial fraud.
How Stealer Logs Work
Stealer malware sneaks onto a device through a fake download, cracked game, or phishing attachment. Once active, it pulls saved passwords and autofill data straight from the browser and packages them into a log file. Small batches like this one are often the first sample a seller posts before offering the full collection.
