Because of the Valid Hotmail MrAwexx Leak, 384 Accounts Are at Risk
The Valid Hotmail MrAwexx Combolist Exposed 384 Accounts
HEROIC analysts identified a combolist file named "Valid Hotmail MrAwexx" uploaded to a Telegram channel on December 3, 2025. The file contains 384 records pairing Hotmail email addresses with plaintext passwords, along with URLs showing where each credential pair could be used to log in.
Why This Is Dangerous
Although 384 records is a small number, every one represents a working email and password combination that has already been verified as active, which is what "valid" means in this context. Because the passwords are stored in plaintext, an attacker can log into these accounts immediately without any additional effort.
What Was Exposed
- Hotmail email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- Associated login URLs
Why This Matters
Because of this leak, anyone whose Hotmail credentials appear in the file faces immediate risk of account takeover, and an attacker who gets into an email inbox can often reset passwords on banking, shopping, and social media accounts linked to that address. If you reuse the same password anywhere else, the risk extends to those accounts too, opening the door to financial fraud and identity theft.
How Combolist Leaks Work
A combolist gathers email addresses and passwords, often from earlier breaches, phishing pages, or malware, then verifies which ones still work before packaging them for sale or distribution. Sellers label lists as "valid" specifically because the credentials have been tested and confirmed active, making these smaller curated lists especially attractive to criminals since every entry is more likely to succeed.
