Vietnam Cloud Private Leak: 3,104 Accounts Ready to Steal
HEROIC uncovered a stealer log dataset labeled Good Email VIETNAM CLOUD PRIVATE on Telegram in April 2025. The collection contains 3,104 records extracted by infostealer malware, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of services victims were accessing when their credentials were stolen.
Plaintext Passwords Leave No Room for Defense
The credentials in this leak are stored in plaintext with no hashing or encryption applied. This means every password is immediately usable by anyone who obtains the dataset. Attackers do not need to crack or decode anything. They can log in as the victim within seconds, accessing accounts and personal data without any technical barrier.
What Was Exposed
- Email Addresses
- Plaintext Passwords
- URLs (associated cloud services and login pages)
Why Credential Stuffing Makes This Leak More Dangerous
Even though this dataset targets Vietnam-based cloud services, the risk extends far beyond a single platform. Attackers use credential stuffing to test leaked email and password combinations against hundreds of other websites. Because many users choose the same password for multiple accounts, a single exposed login from this leak could grant access to email inboxes, financial services, and social media profiles across the globe.
Understanding Stealer Logs and Infostealer Malware
Stealer logs originate from devices compromised by infostealer malware. This type of malware is often distributed through fake software downloads, phishing links, or malicious attachments. Once active on a victim's device, it silently collects stored browser passwords, session tokens, and autofill data. The resulting logs are then bundled and distributed on dark web marketplaces and Telegram channels, giving attackers access to complete credential sets from thousands of victims.
Check If Your Credentials Were Exposed
If you use cloud services based in Vietnam or have accounts on platforms referenced in this dataset, your credentials may be compromised. HEROIC's breach scanner covers over 400 billion exposed records. Search for your email address to find out if your login details appear in this or other breaches, and update your passwords immediately if they do.
