Records Exposed 55,615
Source Type Stealer log
Origin Telegram
Password Type plaintext

HEROIC researchers found 55,615 records on March 22, 2026 from Wako_Cloud2, a stealer log file uploaded to a public Telegram channel under an alternate spelling of the Wako_Cloud series.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Wako_Cloud2 is part of a recurring naming pattern, which suggests the same threat actor is packaging and re-releasing credential dumps under slightly different labels to slip past dedupe tools. Each variant still carries fresh, working credentials, and at 55,615 records this release is large enough to fuel mass credential stuffing against banking, email, and workplace accounts.

What Was Exposed in Wako_Cloud2

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Login URLs and API host endpoints
  • Service identifiers revealing which apps victims use

Why This Matters

Plaintext credentials are immediately usable. Attackers do not need to crack hashes, bypass rate limits, or phish the victim again. Because Wako_Cloud, Wako_Cloud_2, Wako_Cloud_3, and Wako_Cloud2 appear to overlap, the same email can show up in multiple leaks, compounding the risk for anyone who has not rotated their passwords.

How a Stealer Log Like Wako_Cloud2 Works

Infostealer malware lands on a device through phishing, cracked software, or malicious ads, then scrapes saved browser passwords, autofill fields, cookies, and crypto wallet files. The data is compressed into a log and uploaded to Telegram channels or underground markets, where it is repackaged under names like Wako_Cloud2 and sold or shared for free to other criminals.
