SILICON SLOPES, Utah — February 22, 2019 — HEROIC Cybersecurity, a leading provider of data breach monitoring and blockchain based cybersecurity solutions, announced today the appointment of Joe Hall as Chief Information Security Officer and Spencer Montgomery as Vice President of Business Development.

Hall, a cybersecurity veteran with over 15 years of experience in network security and risk mitigation, joins HEROIC as the company's principal security strategist. Prior to joining HEROIC, Hall held numerous security engineering positions at Sophos, Symantec, Dell, American Express, Solera and SonicWALL. As a forward-thinking leader at these large companies, Hall's experience includes supporting the launch of Dell's SuperMassive Next-Gen Firewall Series and training hundreds of support technicians on various enterprise security product lines. As CISO, Hall will help with the architecture and development of HEROIC's blockchain-based data platforms along with ensuring the security of the company's software.

Spencer Montgomery, Vice President of Business Development

Montgomery, a blockchain thought leader and previously Microsoft's Blockchain Evangelist for the Bay Area, is most recognized for his role in the launch of Microsoft's blockchain solutions including the Coco framework and Azure Blockchain App Builder. Spencer has been at the forefront of educating businesses about emerging technologies. Prior to Microsoft, Montgomery was a sales executive at Xamarin, a mobile development platform. In his new role with HEROIC, Montgomery will focus on investment and partnerships as well as developing and executing company sales plans.
