HEROIC's threat intelligence team spotted another entry in the TOKYO CLOUD series, TOKYO CLOUD FREE80, uploaded to Telegram in July 2024. This log contains 4,523 records pulled from infected devices, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the URL where the credential was entered.

Why the TOKYO CLOUD FREE80 Leak Is Dangerous

The passwords in TOKYO CLOUD FREE80 were captured directly from a compromised browser, meaning they were in active use at the time of infection. With the destination website already attached to each entry, an attacker can skip straight to logging in rather than guessing where a stolen password might work.

What the TOKYO CLOUD FREE80 Log Contains

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the websites each credential unlocks

Why This Leak Matters to You

The repeated appearance of TOKYO CLOUD-branded logs suggests an ongoing operation feeding fresh, working credentials to Telegram buyers on a regular basis. Anyone caught up in this leak faces the same risks as victims of larger breaches, including account takeover, unauthorized purchases, and identity theft, especially if a captured password was reused on other accounts.

How the TOKYO CLOUD FREE80 Stealer Log Was Created

As with earlier files in this series, TOKYO CLOUD FREE80 was likely released as a free sample to showcase the quality of a larger stealer log collection. The underlying malware spreads through cracked software or fake downloads, then quietly harvests saved browser credentials from each infected device before the data is packaged and shared.
