A Bugatti_Cloud Stealer Log Surfaces With 19,982 Infected Users

In August 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file, part of a batch labeled "Bugatti_Cloud," uploaded to Telegram by a user distributing malware-harvested data. The file contained 19,982 records pulled directly from infected devices, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those credentials unlock.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are different from a typical hacked database because the data comes straight from the victim's own computer, captured while malware was running in the background. That means the passwords in this file are almost certainly still in use, since they were saved in the victim's browser at the moment of infection, and each record is already paired with the exact site it unlocks.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs for the linked accounts

Why This Matters

Because each of the 19,982 records already links a password to the exact login page it belongs to, an attacker doesn't need to guess where to try it, they can go straight to the bank, email provider, or shopping account and log in directly. That shortcut is what makes stealer logs so useful for credential stuffing, account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud, often before the victim even notices anything is wrong.

How Stealer Logs Like This One Are Built

A stealer log is the output of information-stealing malware that infects a device, often through a fake download or malicious link, and quietly copies saved passwords, autofill data, and browser session details before sending everything back to the attacker. The results are packaged into a file like this one, batch-named and split into parts, then sold or shared through channels like Telegram to buyers looking for fresh, working logins.

Check If You Are Affected

If your device may have been infected, or you simply want to know whether your credentials have turned up in a stealer log or any other leak, HEROIC's free breach scanner checks a database of more than 400 billion exposed records. It's a quick way to find out whether you need to change your passwords now, before someone else uses them.
