On June 10, 2026, a stealer log file tied to comteck.com was uploaded to Telegram by an unidentified user, exposing 1,844 records that include email addresses, plaintext passwords, and account URLs. Comteck.com itself was not hacked. The data came from devices already infected with information-stealing malware, which had comteck.com login details saved in the browser before those details were collected into a log file and shared on Telegram.

Why This Is Dangerous

The passwords in this log were stored in plaintext, so there is no encryption standing in the way of anyone who gets a copy. That means an attacker can try each email and password pair directly, with no cracking or guesswork needed to gain access to the account.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Account URLs (the login pages saved with each credential)

Why This Matters

With 1,844 records exposed, the risk is personal for everyone on that list. Attackers use leaked email and password pairs in credential stuffing attacks, testing them against email providers, banks, and other online accounts in the hope that people reused the same password. If your comteck.com credentials were reused anywhere else, you could be looking at account takeover, identity theft, or financial fraud.

How Stealer Log Leaks Happen

Stealer malware typically spreads through pirated software, fake downloads, or malicious email attachments. Once it infects a device, it quietly pulls saved passwords and autofill data straight out of the browser and sends everything back to the attacker. The attacker then bundles the results into a log file and sells or dumps it on Telegram, which is how this comteck.com dataset ended up exposed.
