CrowlerCloud FREE LOGS4 Stealer Log: 3,736 Credentials Leaked
HEROIC's DarkHive intelligence system discovered the 16 MAR CrowlerCloud FREE LOGS4 stealer log breach, exposing 3,736 records. The breach occured in March 2022 when a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs harvested from infected devices. This was the fourth installment of the CrowlerCloud free log series, openly distributed on Telegram to anyone seeking stolen credentials at no cost.
Why This Is Dangerous
Stealer log collections like CrowlerCloud FREE LOGS4 give attackers ready-to-use credentials for over 3,700 accounts. The URL data maps each email address to the specific websites where that password was saved, telling attackers exactly which accounts to target. Because these logs were distributed freely on Telegram, multiple threat actors can use the same stolen credentials simultaneously without coordination. Plaintext passwords require no cracking and are immediately usable for credential stuffing attacks against banking portals, email platforms, and corporate systems wherever victims reused thier passwords.
What Was Exposed
- Email Addresses
- Plaintext Passwords
- URLs
Why This Matters
Freely distributed stealer log series like CrowlerCloud are particularly dangerous because each new installment expands the pool of compromised credentials available to attackers. Over 3,700 victims face account takeover attempts from any number of threat actors who downloaded the free log package. Financial fraud, unauthorized access to corporate systems, and identity theft are common outcomes after credential exposure. Users whose credentials appear in stealer logs should treat thier devices as potentially compromised and perform complete security reviews including antivirus scans and full password resets across all services where the same password was used.
How Stealer Log Works
Infostealer malware typically enters victims' systems through malicious email attachments, pirated software, or drive-by downloads from compromised websites. Once installed, it runs silently in the background, scanning browser credential stores and extracting saved usernames, passwords, and website URLs. The captured data is packaged into log files and automatically transmitted to the attacker's command servers. Operators then organize the logs into collections and share them on Telegram channels. The CrowlerCloud FREE LOGS4 collection was uploaded to Telegram around March 16, 2022, as part of an ongoing series of free credential dumps targeting infected Windows endpoints.
