One Telegram Upload. 7,630 Passwords. The CRYPTON_LOGS Leak.
HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file, labeled CRYPTON_LOGS 301PCS, uploaded to a Telegram channel on December 2, 2025. The file contained 7,630 records pairing email addresses with plaintext passwords and the URLs of the sites those credentials unlock.
Why This Is Dangerous
This log connects each stolen password directly to the website it opens, so an attacker knows exactly where to use it. Since the passwords are stored in plaintext with no hashing to break, anyone who downloads this file can log into the matching accounts immediately, with no cracking or guesswork involved.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the sites the credentials belong to
Why This Matters
Because each credential in this log comes pre-matched to its login page, attackers can jump straight to account takeover instead of testing stolen logins across random websites. That shortcut raises the risk of identity theft and financial fraud, especially where the linked URLs lead to banking or payment sites, and it makes this data far more useful for credential stuffing than an unmatched list of emails and passwords.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log comes from malware that infects a victim's device, often through a pirated download, a fake update, or a malicious attachment. Once installed, it quietly reads the passwords and site data saved in the victim's browser and bundles it all into a single file sent back to the attacker. That bundled file, known as a log, is exactly what surfaced here as CRYPTON_LOGS, a direct export of saved logins shared or sold through Telegram.
