In July 2025, HEROIC analysts detected a stealer log file uploaded to Telegram under the name "hopefully." The file contained 126,499 records, each consisting of an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the targeted service. The file name is a common pattern in cybercrime communities where stolen log batches are given informal labels before being distributed. Every record in this file was captured by infostealer malware running on comprimised devices before the data was packaged and shared publicly.
