GODELESS CLOUD Stealer Log: 7,150 Stolen Credentials Exposed on Telegram in September 2023

In September 2023, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file uploaded to Telegram under the name GODELESS CLOUD. This file contained 7,150 records stripped from infected devices, each one holding an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of a service the victim was actively using. The file was distributed openly on Telegram, available to anyone who accessed the channel, with no barriers to download. HEROIC has confirmed the data as verified and documented it in our breach database.

The GODELESS CLOUD Leak Contains More Credential Records Than a Sold-Out Stadium

Seven thousand, one hundred and fifty people. That is the scale of exposure in this single stealer log file. For context, that is more records than a large concert venue holds, all of them real people with real accounts and real passwords that are now in the hands of whoever downloaded this file. Unlike abstract statistics about data breaches, every entry in the GODELESS CLOUD log is a named email address with a working password attached to it. This is not theoretical exposure. It is concrete, immediate, and already in the wild.

What Was Exposed in the GODELESS CLOUD Stealer Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords (fully usable, no decryption or cracking needed)
  • URLs (live service endpoints the victim was accessing at the time of infection)

Why This Matters: 7,150 Direct Paths to Account Takeover and Identity Fraud

Credential stuffing attacks powered by logs like this one work because the credentials are real and current. An attacker who downloads this file has 7,150 email and password combinations to test. Automated tools can process the entire list against a target platform in minutes. When a credential matches, the attacker is logged in. From there, they can harvest stored payment information, change recovery details to lock the owner out, and use the compromised account for phishing, fraud, or resale.

The URL data in this log adds an extra layer of precision. Attackers know exactly which services each victim uses. If the URL belongs to a banking platform, the attacker knows to try the credential there first. If it is a corporate email portal, they may attempt to pivot into an organisation's network. The risk is not limited to personal financial loss. For business users in this file, a single compromised account can become an entry point for broader corporate intrusion. Identity theft and financial fraud are both very reallisteic outcomes here.

How Stealer Logs Like GODELESS CLOUD Are Created and Shared

Infostealer malware spreads through phishing emails, malicious software downloads, fake browser updates, and drive-by exploits on compromised websites. Once it reaches a device, it runs in the background, extracting saved passwords, session cookies, and recently visited URLs from the browser. The collected data is packaged into a log file and transmitted to the attacker's infrastructure.

Files like GODELESS CLOUD are then uploaded to Telegram channels where they are shared freely. These channels can have thousands of active subscribers, and each file that gets posted is downloaded and copied many times. The 7,150 people in this log recieved no warning that their devices had been compromised and no notification that their credentials were being distributed. The malware that collected this data may have been active on infected machines for weeks before the log was compiled and uploaded, quietly harvesting new sessions the entire time. This is definitaly a much larger problem than most victims ever realise.
