In May 2023, a second stealer log package under the GODELESS PRIVATE name appeared on Telegram, exposing 6,666 records containing plaintext passwords, email addresses, and endpoint URLs. This was not a corporate database breach -- it was the result of infostealer malware quietly harvesting credentials from individual devices, one victim at a time. Each record in this file represents a real person whose login data is now in the hands of criminals, making identiy theft and account takeover a direct and immediate consequence.

Why This Is Dangerous

When plaintext passwords leak alongside email addresses, attackers have an instant, ready-to-use credential kit. There is no hashing to reverse, no encryption to break. Criminals can feed these 6,666 credential pairs directly into automated stuffing tools that test them across hundreds of popular websites within minutes. Banking apps, email accounts, payment platforms, and social media profiles are all tested in rapid succesion. The accounts that reuse the exposed password are compromised almost immediately -- and the victim rarely finds out until the damage is done.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (endpoint and API host data)

Why This Matters

Identity theft does not require sophisticated hacking when plaintext credentials are freely available. The GODELESS PRIVATE 6,666-record dump hands criminals a turnkey fraud kit. With an email address and a matching password, attackers can reset account credentials, intercept two-factor authentication codes sent to email, and take over linked financial accounts. The downstream consequences -- fraudulent purchases, drained bank accounts, ruined credit -- can take months or years to resolve. This breach made all of that significantly easier for the people behind it.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware is typically delivered through phishing emails, fake software installers, and malicious browser extensions. Once running on a device, it silently extracts saved browser passwords, active session cookies, and credentials as they are entered. The harvested records are compiled into log files and sold or distributed through private Telegram channels. GODELESS PRIVATE represents one such distribution -- two separate log packages released under the same name, each containing thousands of stolen credential sets. Victims often have no indication their device was ever compromised.
