In May 2023, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file labeled GODELESS PRIVATE, placing 8,075 stolen email-password pairs directly into the hands of anyone who found the post. The data was not encrypted, not hashed, and not hidden behind any barrier -- it was plaintext credentials packaged for immediate use. This is one of three separate GODELESS PRIVATE log dumps from the same period, each containing thousands of unique victim records harvested by infostealer malware running silently on compromised devices.

Why This Is Dangerous

Eight thousand plaintext credential pairs represent 8,075 real people whose email addresses and passwords are now publicly known in criminal circles. The moment a stealer log file is uploaded to Telegram, it is downloaded, indexed, and fed into credential stuffing tools by dozens of actors simultaneously. Every service those 8,075 people use with the same password -- their bank, their email, their work login -- becomes a potential entry point. The scale of the downstream harm from a single Telegram upload is dramatically underestimated by most people who have never seen how quickly this data gets weaponized and monetized.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (endpoint and API host data)

Why This Matters

Stealer log breaches like GODELESS PRIVATE do not make mainstream news, which is exactly the problem. Victims do not recieve breach notification emails. There is no regulatory requirement for a Telegram user to disclose what they uploaded. The people whose credentials appear in this file have almost certainly never been informed their data was stolen. That gap between breach and awareness is the window attackers exploit -- and for many victims of this 2023 upload, that window may still be open today if they have not yet changed the exposed password.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware is distributed through phishing campaigns, cracked software, and malicious ads. Once installed, it extracts saved passwords from browsers, harvests session cookies, and captures keystrokes. This data is bundled into structured log files and uploaded to private Telegram channels where they are sold or freely shared. Each GODELESS PRIVATE package represents a separate harvesting operation -- different devices, different victims, same distribution method. The malware is designed to evade antivirus detection and runs silently, typicaly without any visible sign of compromise on the infected device.
