HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log posted to BreachForums on March 24, 2025, under the name InerealCloud 2M ULP P3 by InerealCloud. The dataset contained 201,775 unique records pulled from infected devices and applications, with each entry pairing an email address directly with a plaintext password and an associated homepage URL. Because the passwords are in plaintext, meaning completely unencrypted and instantly usable, this is among the most immediately dangerous categories of leaked data.

Why InerealCloud Plaintext Passwords Are a Serious Threat

Most data breaches expose hashed passwords that take time and computing power to crack. Stealer logs are different. The passwords captured by infostealer malware are pulled directly from browsers, password managers, and app sessions before any encryption is applied. This means every credential in this dataset is ready to use the moment an attacker opens the file. With 201,775 email and password pairs available, criminals can begin testing logins across banking platforms, email services, social media accounts, and corporate systems within miutes of obtaining the list.

What Was Exposed in the InerealCloud Stealer Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Homepage URLs

Why This Matters for Anyone in the InerealCloud Dataset

Credential stuffing attacks powered by this kind of data are fast, automated, and highly effective. Criminals use tools that test thousands of username and password combinations per minute across dozens of websites simultaneously. If you reuse passwords across multiple accounts, a single exposed credential can cascade into account takeovers on your email, bank, streaming services, and workplace tools. Homepage URLs in the dataset help attackers profile their targets, identifing what platforms each person frequents and customizing follow-on attacks accordingly. Identity theft and financial fraud are the most common outcomes.

How a Stealer Log Breach Works

A stealer log is not a traditional database hack. It is the output of infostealer malware, which is software installed on a victim's device without their knowledge, usually through a phishing email, a fake software download, or a malicious advertisement. Once running, the malware silently collects saved passwords from browsers, cookies that keep users logged in, and credentials stored in apps. It then packages everything into a log file and sends it back to the attacker. The InerealCloud operation gathered these logs from thousands of devices and compiled them into the dataset posted to BreachForums. Victims often have no idea their devices were compromised.
