Inside the BabaCloudLogs Breach: How 15,047 Records Were Compromised
On November 5, 2025, a Telegram user posted a stealer log file called "BabaCloudLogs 300 Cloud Logs" that contained 15,047 records harvested from infected endpoints. The data showed up on a public channel, which means it was accessable to anyone who happened to be watching. Credentials and cloud service URLs were sitting in the open, ready to be used by whoever found them first.
Why This Is Dangerous
Cloud credentials are some of the most valuable data a threat actor can get their hands on. Unlike a breached website login, API credentials and cloud service URLs can provide direct access to infrastructure, storage buckets, databases, and more. When these end up in a stealer log, the consequences can go well beyond a single compromised account.

How Stealer Log Works

Once the log is assembled, it gets sent back to whoever is running the operation. In many cases, they sort through the data themselves, pull out anything useful like banking logins or admin credentials, and then publish the rest to platforms like Telegram where it can be downloaded by other attackers for free.
The "cloud logs" label in this case suggests the malware may have been specifically targeting browser sessions or saved credentials for cloud services, which are seperate from more common targets like email and social media logins. That kind of targeting can indicate a more focused campaign rather than a broad spray-and-pray infection.
