The MAIL ACCESS 5K MIX Leak: 4,548 Inboxes Someone Could Log Into
"MAIL ACCESS 5K MIX VALID 100" Log Exposes 4,548 Records
HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file labeled "MAIL ACCESS 5K MIX VALID 100" that surfaced on a Telegram channel on July 7, 2026. The file contained 4,548 records, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the accounts those credentials unlock. The label itself, marking the credentials as "valid," suggests whoever uploaded it had already confirmed the logins still worked at the time of posting.
Why This Is Dangerous
Unlike data taken from a hacked company database, this file was harvested directly from infected devices, which is why the passwords are stored in plaintext rather than hashed. Paired with the matching URL for each account, and a label claiming the credentials are already verified as working, an attacker does not have to test whether the logins are live. They can go straight to using them.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the accounts the credentials belong to
Why This Matters
If any of these 4,548 people reused their email password on other accounts, an attacker can use credential stuffing to try that same combination on banking, shopping, or social media logins. Because this batch is marketed as pre-checked and valid, the risk of someone actually logging into an affected inbox right now is higher than with an unverified list. That can quickly lead to account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log is created when malware, often hidden inside a cracked program, fake download, or malicious attachment, infects a device and quietly collects everything saved in the browser: usernames, passwords, autofill data, and browsing history. That data is packaged into a log file, and in this case relabeled and repackaged as a "valid" mail access list, before being uploaded to Telegram channels where anyone can access it.
