One Telegram Upload. 126 Log Files. The Maxuscloud Stealer Had 339 Records.
In June 2025, HEROIC's DarkHive threat intelligence platform identified a stealer log archive labeled "maxuscloud 126count" that was uploaded by a Telegram user. The dataset contained 339 records exposing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and associated URLs. The breach originated from information-stealing malware deployed against victims primarily located in the United States.
Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous
Because the passwords in this dump are stored in plaintext, attackers can immediately use them to access victim accounts without any cracking or decryption. When paired with the URLs that were also harvested, criminals have a clear roadmap showing exactly which services each credential unlocks. This makes automated account takeover trivially easy, even for low-skill threat actors operating through Telegram channels.

Why This Matters

How Stealer Logs Work
Stealer logs are generated by information-stealing malware, sometimes called infostealers, that silently runs on a victim's computer or mobile device. Once installed, the malware captures saved passwords from web browsers, autofill data, session cookies, and sometimes even screenshots or keystrokes. The harvested data is packaged into log files and exfiltrated to command-and-control servers or shared directly in Telegram groups and dark web marketplaces. In this case, the maxuscloud archive was distributed through a Telegram channel, making it accessable to a wide audience of cybercriminals almost instantly.
