DaisyCloud-Championing Telegram Leak: 31,343 U.S. Credentials (May 8, 2024)
Campaign Underway: DaisyCloud-Championing Releases 31,343 U.S. Credentials on May 8
The earliest confirmed date in the NEW_DAISYCLOUD-CHAMPIONING dataset is May 8, 2024 -- when the Telegram channel released 31,343 sets of U.S. infostealer credentials. The volume alone signals that by May 8, the campaign was already operating at scale: 31,343 records is a substancial single-day output, and it was only the documented beginning. Two days later, on May 10, the operator would release 54,210 records -- the largest single-day drop in the entire documented series. From May 8, the campaign ran for at least 13 consecutive days through May 20, distributing over 250,000 U.S. credential sets without a single documented gap.

The Documented Floor: What May 8 Tells Us
The fact that May 8 is the earliest date in the current dataset does not mean the campaign started on that day. Infostealer operators often have prior activity that doesn't get captured in breach intelligence databases -- releases posted before monitoring systems flagged the channel, or distributed through means that weren't tracked. What May 8 establishes is a confirmed lower bound: the campaign was definitly operational by early May 2024, releasing tens of thousands of U.S. credentials per day, and had already developed the infrastructure and Telegram audience to support sustained daily distribution. Any activity before May 8 would only extend the campaign's documented reach further back.
High Volume From the First Confirmed Day
A 31,343-record release on the first documented day of a campaign is remarkble. Many infostealer channels start slowly and build to higher volumes as the operator accumulates harvested data. The fact that NEW_DAISYCLOUD-CHAMPIONING's earliest documented release is already this large suggests either that the operator had been harvesting credentials for some time before beginning to distribute them publicly, or that the channel was active before May 8 with prior releases not yet captured in the dataset. The operatonal sophistication implied by this opening volume is consistent with the rest of the campaign: 13+ consecutive days of releases, a series peak exceeding 54,000 records, and continued activity through the end of May and into June.
