The Universe_Logs Dump Put 51,680 Login Credentials on the Dark Web
In October 2025, HEROIC analysts recovered a stealer log file titled Universe_Logs 6200 Cloud Logs.part1, uploaded to Telegram by an individual user. The file contains 51,680 records, each combining an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the site or service those credentials were used on. It was uploaded on 22-Oct-2025 and is now indexed in HEROIC's dark web monitoring database.
Why This Is Dangerous
Stealer logs are pulled directly off infected devices, which means the passwords in this file are captured in plaintext, exactly as the victims typed them. There's no encryption for an attacker to work around. Anyone who gets this file can log directly into the accounts it contains.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the websites and services the credentials belong to
Why This Matters
Each of the 51,680 records in this file links a working email and password to the exact site it was used on, which is exactly what an attacker needs to attempt credential stuffing elsewhere. If any of these people reused that password on their email, banking, or social accounts, one exposed login can open several more. That's how a leaked stealer log turns into account takeover, financial fraud, and identity theft.
How the Universe_Logs Malware Harvested This Data
This file comes from infostealer malware that infects a device through a fake download, cracked software, or a malicious link, then quietly scans the browser's saved passwords, autofill data, and active sessions. Everything it collects gets bundled into log files and split into batches, such as "part1" here, before being distributed or sold on Telegram, where HEROIC analysts recovered this one.
