The BreachForums Private Satanic 10M ULP Part 2 Sept #4 by Satanic stealer log was uploaded to BreachForums on September 12, 2024, as the fourth installment in a ten-part series of credential dumps from a single threat actor. The package contained approximately 10 million raw records; after deduplication, 2,941,911 unique email-password pairs remained. Every password in this dataset is in plaintext -- captured directly from malware-infected devices rather than extracted from a hashed database. That means any attacker with access to this file can attempt logins immediately, without any cracking step.

This is part of a 10-part series released simultaneously on BreachForums. See the Related Parts section below for links to all installments.

Why This Is Dangerous

Information-stealing malware captures credentials exactly as users type them -- at the browser level, before any encryption takes place. This makes stealer log credentials fundamentally more dangerous than hashed passwords from database breaches: there is no hash to crack, no algorithm to reverse. The data in this file is immediately operational for credential stuffing campaigns. With the full ten-part series collectively exposing tens of millions of unique credential pairs, the aggregate threat from this single actor's September 2024 release is substantial.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Address -- the primary login identifier for virtually every online account
  • Plaintext Password -- immediately usable, no cracking required
  • HomePage URL -- identifies which specific websites these credentials belong to, enabling targeted account takeover rather than broad stuffing attempts

Why This Matters

  • Credential stuffing: Automated tools load these plaintext pairs and test them against banking portals, email providers, streaming services, and e-commerce platforms -- anywhere the victim might have reused the same password.
  • Account takeover: Email account access is the master key -- it enables password resets across every connected service, from bank accounts to social media to cloud storage.
  • Identity theft: Control of an email account gives attackers access to years of personal communications, financial statements, and identity documents.
  • Cascading compromise: A single credential pair can unlock dozens of accounts when users reuse passwords across services.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are produced by information-stealing malware distributed through phishing emails, trojanized software downloads, and malicious browser extensions. Once installed, the malware silently scans for saved passwords in browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, then exfiltrates them as structured ULP (URL:Login:Password) files to an attacker-controlled server. These files are then compiled into bulk packages -- like this ten-part series -- and sold or posted to hacking forums. The actor behind this release had previously published a similar ten-part set just one week earlier, indicating either a large stolen dataset being methodically released, or an ongoing operation with continuous credential collection.
