A Second prdscloud Stealer Log Turned Up on Telegram

HEROIC dark web analysts identified another stealer log tied to the prdscloud name, uploaded to a public Telegram channel on March 27, 2024. This file contained 2,552 records, each one linking an email address to a plaintext password and the URL of the site or service the login belonged to. It is a smaller companion to a related upload from the same source, but the risk to the people in it is exactly as real.

Why This Is Dangerous

Every password in this file was stored in plaintext, which means it was captured exactly as it was typed with no encryption in the way. An attacker does not need to crack, guess, or brute force anything. They open the file, see the URL, see the password, and try logging in directly. That immediacy is what makes plaintext credential leaks so much more dangerous than a hashed password database.

What Was Exposed in This prdscloud Log

  • Email addresses connected to real user accounts
  • Plaintext passwords with no protective encryption
  • URLs identifying the exact login page for each account

Why This Matters

Even at 2,552 records, this is a ready made toolkit for credential stuffing, the practice of testing stolen logins across many different sites to find where else they work. Anyone in this file who reused their password on a banking site, an email account, or a shopping account faces a genuine risk of account takeover, and from there, financial fraud or identity theft. Small logs like this one are traded constantly precisely because they are easy to act on immediately.

How This Type of Stealer Log Gets Made

Stealer logs come from infostealer malware that infects a victim's device and copies saved browser credentials, autofill entries, and session data before sending it back to the attacker running the malware. Data collected this way is often split into smaller batches, like this 2,552 record file, and posted separately across several Telegram channels to widen its reach and make the leak harder for defenders to fully track down.
