The Bugatti Cloud Part 18 Log Put 6,877 Passwords Online
On May 31, 2024, HEROIC's DarkHive team identified a stealer log file, labeled Bugatti Cloud Part 18, shared on Telegram. The file exposed 6,877 records tied to accounts in the United States. Each record included an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the service the credential unlocked.
Why the Bugatti Cloud Part 18 Leak Is Dangerous
Because the passwords in this log were captured and shared as plain, readable text, no cracking is required to use them. An attacker can take an email, password, and web address straight from the file and attempt to log in immediately. That removes the biggest barrier standing between stolen data and a compromised account.
What Was Exposed in Bugatti Cloud Part 18
- 6,877 compromised account records
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs identifying the services those credentials belong to
Why This Matters for the 6,877 Accounts Involved
This file is one part of a larger set of logs distributed under the Bugatti Cloud name, and each part adds to the pool of working credentials available to attackers. Because people frequently reuse passwords across multiple sites, a single exposed login can be tested against banking portals, email accounts, and online stores through automated credential stuffing tools, turning one leak into many compromised accounts.
How Stealer Logs Like Bugatti Cloud Part 18 Are Made
Infostealer malware typically reaches a victim's device through a phishing email, a cracked software download, or a malicious browser extension. Once active, it silently pulls saved passwords and browsing data out of the victim's browser and transmits it to the attacker. That stolen data is then packaged into a numbered log file, like this one, and distributed across Telegram channels for other criminals to use.
