Description

In December 2011, accounts from the Chinese social networking site Renren were leaked online and posted on a well-known hacking forum. Renren, which originally started as a campus-only social media platform similar to Facebook, responded by notifying affected users and providing instructions on how to change their passwords. The breach involved around 4.76 million records, with 3.31 million being unique.
